You don't have to tell us about yourself.
You can browse without an account. We don't ask for profile details, contacts or device location here. Discovering, matching and chatting happen in the phone app.
Your language is part of the web address.
Dutch pages use the regular web address, English pages start with /en and French pages with /fr. The language menu opens the same page in another language. This public language choice does not need a cookie.
Data that keeps the website working.
When you open a page, the server receives technical data such as your IP address, the requested page and browser information. These are needed to load the website and investigate technical problems.
You manage your browser data.
Your browser lets you view and remove cookies and stored website data. A previously saved language preference may still be in your browser; you can delete it. The language of a public page follows its web address.

Purpose and retention
We use technical data for our legitimate interest in delivering and securing the website and resolving faults. We keep it only as long as needed for that purpose. During a fault or security incident, we retain only the data needed to resolve the incident. Our technical service providers may process this data for us. An older language cookie expires within one year of being saved, or sooner if you remove it yourself.
Who helps run the website?
Retrii manages hosting on Hetzner servers. Backups are stored with Amazon Web Services (AWS S3) in Frankfurt. Cloudflare provides DNS, security and website delivery. These providers may process technical visit data for those purposes. Cloudflare operates globally and may process data outside the European Economic Area, including under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Cloudflare explains these safeguards in its privacy policy.
Your privacy rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can also object to processing, request restriction or, where applicable, request transfer of your data. Send your request to our postal address, for the attention of klik. You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority or the supervisory authority in the country where you live.
